AT WORK
Dan began his legal career at Wildman, Harrold, Allen & Dixon, a national law firm with approximately 200 lawyers. In 1995, he left Wildman and became a founding member of the litigation boutique, Becker & Kaplan LLC. In February 2000, the members of Becker & Kaplan LLC merged their practices into Jenkens & Gilchrist, P.C., a national law firm with approximately 600 lawyers. In January 2003, Kaplan & Greenswag LLC was founded.
IN THE PROFESSION
Dan is an active member in the International Franchise Association, Past-Chairman of the Chicago chapter and frequently speaks and moderates at events. Dan is also an active member in the American Bar Association Forum on Franchising and has published in the ABA Franchise Law Journal. Dan is a member of the American Association of Franchisees and Dealers, the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association.
